The WM LIGHT loading ramp is the most versatile model in the WM range.
Made entirely of anodized aluminium, this ramp is particularly indicated for light loads of up to 400 kg. Customers can choose the width and length of the ramp to create a customized product to suit their specific commercial vehicle.
The WM LIGHT model is easy to install (2 hours) and can be readily removed from the vehicle, leaving the van cargo area completely unobstructed.
The ramp weighs from 34 to 75 kg, depending on the required measurement. The gas struts system balances the weight of the ramp and makes it ultra light so it can be handled easily during the deployment and closing operations, allowing anyone to handle it safely and effortlessly.
The WM LIGHT ramp can also be used in gangway mode to connect two surfaces located at different heights, e.g. between the vehicle and steps, docks, etc. The ramp becomes suitable for gangway type configuration thanks to a pin that is used to lock the hinge.
A key feature of this model is the movable contact flap that connects perfectly to the floor of the van to assure smooth transition between ramp and vehicle. Conversely, the contact flap on the ground end of the ramp is straight and fixed. This contact flap is suitable for all types of equipment, especially with low ground clearance and small size wheels. On request, the ramp can be fitted with a curved and movable rear contact flap, which is recommended for gangway type uses.

Handling
Deployment and swivelling
An external swivel kit is supplied on request, making it possible to open the ramp in the vertical direction, like a second door. This system makes it possible to gain access to the van’s cargo area without using the ramp (e.g. for loading pallets with a forklift truck).
Removability and transportation
The ramp can be easily removed from the vehicle by means of the side handles. Once the ramp has been removed, the vehicle cargo area is completely unobstructed. A quick coupling system makes it possible to transfer the ramp from one vehicle to another very quickly.
